After completing the diet, she decided to learn more and attended a medical training course through the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine in Scottsdale (IAPAM), AZ December of 2017.
Courtney is the Office Manager at NU Start and loves being a part of the team. Her favorite part of her job is watching the weight melt away as the clients check in each week!
She attended UW-Madison and has a degree in Education, Spanish and Photography. She has a past career as a teacher and has now started a photography business. Her interests include exercising, being outdoors, and cooking.

She has always had a passion for not only exercise, but also for leading a healthy lifestyle and believes it is very rewarding to help patients achieve their weight loss goals.
"When people change eating habits and increase their fitness levels, it has proven to be not only a "NuStart" but a new life for our clients who have chosen to complete this program. Providing personal attention to each and every person and giving them the motivation they need is a great feeling! I love to see how happy and excited patients are after they begin to see progress. Sharing in their happiness is such a privilege and it makes feel great about what I do."
Clare has been a registered nurse since 1989. She has years of experience in emergency trauma and critical care, among other disciplines of nursing. After taking several years off to raise her family she is happy to be working with the clients at Nustart. “There are many people in our community who are suffering the effects of extra pounds and the disease processes that occur while living that way. I believe this clinic is providing an amazing opportunity to change that trajectory and learn a new way to eat, and move and live. I am convinced that what we do at Nustart will have a positive impact not only for our clients but for their families as well. I love sharing my knowledge and experience helping people discover a healthier and happier life.”
Tracy has been a nurse for 18 years working primarily in the emergency department. She is very happy to be a part of the NU Start family. "Family is what it feels like every day I'm at work. The joy and excitement on our clients' faces each time they come in is like a child on Christmas morning. I personally did the program and am proud I decided to be the healthier version of myself; not only for me but for my family as well."
Cassy graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2007 and has been working in Labor & Delivery ever since. Women’s health has been her passion throughout her nursing career. Between working in healthcare and raising her two daughters, she also developed a strong interest in nutrition and living a healthier lifestyle. “Having went through the program myself and having amazing results, I realized this is not just about quick weight loss but truly a lifestyle change! My whole family has benefited from the knowledge we gained from the NU Start program and we are all better versions of ourselves because of it! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with Nu Start and help the community with not only weight loss but also learning how to live a healthier lifestyle!” Cassy’s interests include spending time with family up north at their cabin, horseback riding, hunting, fishing and caring for the animals on their farm.

Shortly after, Samantha began working as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. This has become her passion - watching families experience some of the happiest moments of their lives. “I cannot even put into words the emotion that takes over when you watch two people become parents for the first, or fifth time. It’s absolutely heart warming!”
Samantha began working at NuStart after she completed her own physical transformation. She had found a passion in finding the healthiest version of herself. “Putting my own health first had allowed me to instill in my own family the importance of healthy food choices!” Working at this clinic has been extremely rewarding! Watching these clients change physically and emotionally over the course of the program brings joy to her heart. Seeing their changes, encouraging them, and guiding them is something you can’t put words on. It’s incredible!
In her free time, Samantha loves to spend time with her husband of 8 years, and their two beautiful little girls. “We are always on the go, creating memories and having fun!” She also enjoys spending time with her friends, and is always looking forward to the next adventure!
